Bar Preparation Materials: Procedure & Evidence

A guide for various Bar preparation materials available in the library and online.

Test Format

Taken from the Texas Board of Law Examiners website

Procedure and Evidence Questions (P&E)

The P&E Questions cover both civil and criminal procedure and evidence. Twenty questions are presented in the Civil booklet, and 20 more questions are presented in the Criminal booklet. You will have a total of 90 minutes to complete all 40 questions. It is up to you to decide how much time to spend on each booklet. When you finish one booklet, go immediately to the second booklet. All examinees must handwrite the P&E—laptops cannot be used.

Follow the link here and you will find a list of past P&E exams posted on the Texas BLE website.
