CALI has interactive, computer-based tutorials on all first year classes and many upper-level classes. Written by law professors, lessons include various types of practice questions so students can test their understanding of the material covered in the lesson.
To use CALI, students must register for their own account using Texas Tech's unique CALI authorization code. Please contact the Law Library's Reference Team to request the authorization code at 806-742-7155 or email@example.com. When you register using the authorization code, you will create your own user name and password.
To find a lesson for your class, select either First Year 1L or Upper Level 2L/3L from the Lessons drop down.
Then use the course tabs to find different lessons for your specific class. CALI breaks full courses down in lessons on smaller subtopics. For example, for torts, you might find lessons on specific intentional torts, as well as duty, breach, etc.
