During Phase II Operations, print materials are available for use and checkout. Print materials used in the Law Library space should be returned to the re-shelving carts on each floor. Checked out materials should be returned though the Law Library's Book Drop and will undergo a rigorous sanitization process.
Texas Tech also has a robust set of online resources through the Law Library's holdings and main campus materials. Please contact a reference librarian for help identifying a comparable electronic resource to meet your needs.
Until further notice, laptops are unavailable for checkout. If you need computer equipment, please contact Associate Dean Sofia Chapman.
Print study aids are available. In addition, the Law Library has a variety of online study aids, including West Academic Study Aids and Wolters Kluwer Study Aids.
Please return all print materials through the Law Library's Book Drop.
In-person Reference services will be limited to virtual services until further notice.

The Law Library has taken multiple precautions to protect patron safety. Please ensure social distancing while in the Law School and Law Library in accordance with the Law School's Health & Safety Guidelines.
Law Library Study Space:
Patrons are required to wear a mask at all times in the general library study space. No food and drink are allowed in the general library study space.
While the physical study rooms will be unavailable, the Law Library will provide virtual study rooms to students.
Socially Distanced Seats:
The Law Library has 28 socially-distanced seats on the First Floor designated for collaboration or online classes. If you are participating in an online class, please make sure to use a headset.
There are also 56 seats in the Basement and 15 seats on the 2nd Floor available for quiet study.
