Library Services Summer 2021: Law Library Hours and Services

Operating Hours

The Circulation Desk is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. You can also email or call at:

Circulation Services

The Circulation Desk will provide full services except for loaning laptops.

Laptops:
Until further notice, laptops are unavailable for checkout.  If you need computer equipment, please contact Associate Dean Sofia Chapman.

Study Aids:
Print study aids are available. In addition, the Law Library has a variety of online study aids, including West Academic Study Aids and Wolters Kluwer Study Aids. 

Reference Services

In-person Reference services will be limited to virtual services until further notice.

For Reference assistance, please contact us at 806-742-7155 or reference.law@ttu.edu. The Reference Team will set up virtual meetings, as needed. 

Phone, email, and chat will be monitored between 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The Reference Team will respond to any requests outside of these hours on the next business day. 

Law Library Spaces

The Law Library has taken multiple precautions to protect patron safety. Please ensure social distancing while in the Law School and Law Library in accordance with the Law School's Health & Safety . 

Bar Exam Preparation and Summer Course:

May 2021 graduates and continuing students may use their University-issued ID to access the law building outside of normal operating hours when the doors are locked.

Study Rooms:

While the physical study rooms will be unavailable, the Law Library will provide virtual study rooms to students.

Socially Distanced Seats:

The Law Library has socially-distanced seats on the First Floor designated for collaboration or online classes. If you are participating in an online class, please make sure to use a headset.

There are also seats in the Basement and seats on the 2nd Floor available for quiet study.
