Services for Public Patrons

The Law Library welcomes Public Patrons and provides them with the following service options:

Enter and use the Law Library during public hours
Browse and use the collection
Use certain equipment such as: public access computers, computer lab (password needed)
Access resources in the library such as the Internet
Ask questions and receive assistance from the Law Library staff

The following legal research databases are accessible to public users through the Law Library's computers.

Nexis Uni
Features more than 15,000 news, business and legal sources from LexisNexis—including U.S. Supreme Court decisions dating back to 1790—with an intuitive interface that offers quick discovery across all content types.

HeinOnline
A collection of more than 1,000 law and law related periodicals (from the website). Also known as HeinOnline Law Journal Library.
Lexis Digital Library (Lexis)
The LexisNexis Digital Library Study Aids collection is provided to you compliments of the TTU Law Library and offers easy online access to e-book versions of over 100 study guides published by LexisNexis. This Law School-wide subscription includes popular and trusted study aid titles, including the Understanding series, Questions & Answers series, and Skills & Values series. The OverDrive ebook platform allows you to create custom tags and annotations to help organize your studies. You may also print ebook content or download it for offline use.
Congressional Publications (ProQuest)
Find legislative histories, committee hearings, prints, and reports, bill texts and tracking, and information about members of the House and Senate. Also includes ProQuest Congressional Indices 1789-1969, ProQuest Congressional Serial Set, and ProQuest Serial Set Maps.
