This guide describes the various services available to students participating on one of Texas Tech's law journals.

Introduction

This guide serves multiple purposes:

1) To assist students who are writing journal comments/notes, seminar papers, or independent research process succeed throughout the scholarly research and writing process, including topic selection, preemption checks, conducting scholarly research, and avoiding plagiarism;

2) To suggest resources to aid journal members in cite-checking articles; and

3) To describe services that the law library provides to students who are members of a law review or law journal at Texas Tech University School of Law.
