U.V. JONES AWARD
The U.V. Jones Excellence in Legal Research Award, honoring the career of Texas Tech Law Librarian U.V. Jones, is granted annually to the student who has completed the Excellence in Legal Research Program with the highest average score on their final assessments throughout their participation in the ELR Program.
The amount of the annual award is $250.00. The award will be processed through the winning student's financial aid package. If the student has not capped the annual cost of attendance in student loans, the award will be disbursed. If the student has reached the student loan cap, the award will reduce the loan. The winning student's name will be forwarded to Lisa Green for processing, and the winning student will be recognized during the Law School's annual Awards & Honors event.
